Once upon a time there was a chubby, sweet, middle-aged man who lived in a far away village, all alone. All he wanted to do was eat, concoct strange recipes and enjoy their different flavours. Over the vears. the other villagers forgot his name, and called him Greedy-Masa. Every morning, Greedy-Masa gathered the ingredients for his recipe of the day, It the fire and let his imagination marry up the smells of herbs with the fresh meat, making dishes of every description. One day, loneliness knocked at his door and said: “Greedy-Masa, for how much longer are you going to eat the food you cook alone, and how will you be able to smile without a companion?” And so, a distressed Greedy-Masa went out for a walk. On the way he met a thin man who was holding a bottle of wine and who, despite being poor, seemed very happy. Greedy-Masa stopped and asked: “What is your name, my good man?” “The villagers call me Tipsy-Soura because I'm always drunk from wine” he said. “Who are you?” “The villagers call me Greedy-Masa because I make recipes all day and eat alone”. “I know why you seem sad” said Tipsy-Soura. “For the same reason that I'm unhappy, even though I don't lookit. It's because we should share the joys in life. Only then will we feel true happiness. If you want me to prove it to you, cook your best recipe tonight, and I will bring some wine.” And so, Tipsy-Soura took his favourite wine and met Greedy-Masa and the delicacies that he prepared. They sat down and ate like kings, drank like lords and laughed with all their hearts. From then on, Greedy-Masa and Tipsy-Soura became inseparable and decided to share the recipes and wine with the other villagers. They opened a taverna and called it “Masasoura”, and lived happily ever after...bon appetit!
